That happened to me once. I had a new pair of glasses and the lenses had been made with blanks from different manufacturers. Both presumably clear, but actually very slightly tinted in opposite directions. I had to put the glasses on white paper to convince the optician that there was a problem, but they made me a new pair. If you don't wear glasses or contacts, look up "heterochromia".
