Edit 9/2/09: I’m sitting in a Best Western in the town of Lone Pine, looking out the window at the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range. I just had my first ever Buffalo burger, I now have my feet up, and am trying not to think about tomorrow morning’s run. In an hour I’ll crack open a beer, finish up Chuck Palahniuk’s latest novel Pygmy, then try to get some sleep. The one thing I forgot to pack is my camera cable, so pics will have to wait until Monday (curses!).
