Eye See That It’s Friday
Seems I’m having a bit of an eye problem today.
I woke up yesterday with sore eyes. Thinking that I was just tired I shrugged it off and drove into work, turned on my laptop, and proceeded to catch up on my e-mail when my right eye really began to hurt. I walked to the restroom to check out my eye in the mirror. Wish I hadn’t done that.
In my eye at the edge of my pupil was a small white speck. Did I somehow manage to rub something into my eye, or does this speck have a more natural and perhaps more sinister origin? Whatever it was it was causing me quite a bit of discomfort.
As the afternoon wore my right eye became red and slightly swollen. My left eye began to follow suit. By 1pm both of my eyes had become extremely sensitive to light, so much so that I found it extremely difficult to find my way to my car. I managed to drive home, but only just barely.
Will be seeing my doctor tomorrow. I’m not sure what’s going on with me. I’m hoping it’s temporary and benign. We shall see.

Kudos on driving home when you can barely even see to find your own vehicle. Eedjit. =o)
