Happy Sick People
I spotted these pamphlets during my recent trip to my doctor. I’ve never seen so many people happy about being afflicted with heart disease and high cholesterol:
If I had irritable bowels, the last thing I’d be doing is having my smiling mug advertising my unfortunate plight for all the world to see.

The reason you see smiling faces on the pamphlets is to give out a positive attitude to promote recovery. Imagine if you are already feeling down because of sickness and you see pictures of people in agony, that will make you even more sad and depressed.

That’s the same thing I thought when I looked at the ‘irritable bowel’ pamphlet – “can this woman really be happy about having bowel trouble!?!” LOL!
