Is The Secret Ingredient Tree Sap?
This has been bothering me for quite some time now.
At first I thought it was something that I was doing wrong, but after working my way through two jars of Jif peanut butter I became fed up with they way it sets up like glue after being refrigerated. What are they making this stuff out of? Horse hooves? Concrete? The bitter tears of unrequited love?
The fine people over at Skippy have the formula down. This is the way to make peanut butter. Come on Jif, enough with the spackle. I’m not using your product to repair gouges in my drywall. Lighten up on the Elmers Glue and make everyone happy.

“Come on Jif, enough with the spackle.”
HAHHAHHAHAHAHAHA…I SO agree! And it’s funny, because last year I wrote a post about “natural peanut butter” and how runny it is, and how much you have to stir it to blend it.
I think I need I need to try Skippy!
We buy Jif and I can honestly say that I have never had that problem. But upon further evaluation we don’t buy chunky Jif. Just the normal kind. Another question for you. Do you put your opened p-butter in the fridge or in the cupboard? We put it in the cupboard. Just curious.
@The House of Husar Extra crunchy in the fridge. I have a fear that it’ll go bad it not refrigerated. I’ve heard of people storing peanut butter in the cupboard, but that just seems so…unnatural to me.
omg HATE it when that happens!! and you must put it in the fridge to keep it fresh but it became custom to keep it in the cupboard so it was runnier to spread!! ..just meant i had to eat it twice as fast as it wouldnt stay fresh for as long.. but no problem!!
Hah i know chilled peanut butter is the worse ……everytime i had the urge to eat it …..i ended up tearing the bread becoz its too hard LOL
