The Walking Dead
Wow!
The trailer for the upcoming television show The Walking Dead really has me excited. I’m not big of TV in general, and haven’t followed a television show in many, many years (I loved Lost, but only watched it on DVD), but this trailer has me chompin’ at the bit. The acting looks solid, the production is top notch, and with big names attached I don’t see how it can fail.
It’s amazing that a studio is taking a gamble on this. I’m happy to see that not every production company is gutless.
I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Can’t wait for the 90 minute premier on October 31st!
To kill some time before the big premier, you might want to pick up a copy of World War Z by Max Brooks. This book gets behind the psychology of a global zombie invasion. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.

I can’t thank you enough for sharing this video because (not being a tv watcher) I had no idea of this upcoming show. And I gotta tell ya…this is MY kinda show. I bet it’s going to be very successful!
Have a great weekend, buddy!
Yeah, I can’t wait! World War Z is a fantastic book, and really preps you for this show. I’ve been reading The New Dead anthology by Christopher Golden at the same time as My Revolutions by Hari Kunzru (I can never read just one book), and it’s gotten me totally psyched for TWD.
Always like good recommendations. What network will it be on? The only good part of the summer ending is that new television is coming back. Personally, I can’t wait until Conan is back on the air. It’s been too long.
Looks like this show will appear on AMC, along with Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Woot!
I loved Lost too, and Battle Star Galactica
Wow, are you kidding me. I think I am going to cancel Halloween this year just to watch this. The kids are going to be pissed!
What is it about zombies anyway. I mean really. We all want to live forever but it just isn’t happening. But you just can’t turn away from zombies. I can’t anyway. Vampires as well. I am struggling with a lot of things right now that have to do with death. A friend has been diagnosed with the big C. Cancer. He is stilling in a hospital right now and his body is trying to fight the very medicine that is trying to make him better. Zombies. Fuck.
