So…Here We Are
Wow.
So this is 2013, you say?
HermanTurnip kicks the tires. Lifts the hood. Inspects the engine.
Yeah, it looks nice and shiny. But you know what I want to do this year, first thing? I mean, the very first thing. Yep, you guessed it. Break out the Play-Doh.
Wanna know what I want to do next? Go on, guess. I’ll give you a minute.
Okay, time’s up.
For some crazy reason I have this bizarre hankering to put stickers all over my socks, then run around the room shouting “Ba-CHOW! Ba-CHOW!”, scaring the cat so badly that she throws up.
Hey, don’t knock it ’til you try it…

What did the cat do to YOU…grins. What fun. Do those stickers stick to anything?
I’ve just been comparing your glider chair with mine… it’s almost identical. Aren’t they great chairs?
” then run around the room shouting “Ba-CHOW! Ba-CHOW!”, scaring the cat so badly that she throws up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! CRACKED ME UP! Do you know what I used to like to do? Blow bubbles on my two cats while they were sleeping. You haven’t lived until you watch two cats JUMP about 50 feet in the air when the bubbles land on them. And it’s the look on their faces that made me howl – like, “What the hell was that?!?!?!”
Faaaaaaaabulous photos of Tyler! And I love how you used them as a visual between your narrative.
Love his cute little Christmas socks!
I’m going to have to cite you for cruelty to cats, Mr. Turnip. Or should I say Master Turnip, since I’m thinking it was the little Turnip doing this
What a cutie!
It’s always been Tyler who’s the one to scare the cat. He’s a loud, rambunctious kid, and the cat just doesn’t know what to make of him at times. The mantra “Be nice to Nemesis” gets repeated multiple times every day. *sigh* Heh…
Oh, and the glider chair is great! It worked extremely well while mommy fed Tyler when he was a baby. They’re a must have if you have kids, if you ask me.
Bubbles?! That’s a new one! Heh… I don’t think I’d have the heart to mess with Nemesis like that. She’s always been a real good cat, and has been my constant companion for the past 13 years. Now, if only Tyler can see her as part of the family and not a toy…
You are very correct! I would never mess with Nemesis like that. It’s Tyler who thinks that Nemesis is a toy and not a part of the family. *sigh* Hopefully someday he’ll get it!
Your son is adorable. I have the feeling you know this already.
Cute socks!
