It’s Friday! Well, not really. In reality it’s currently Thursday evening as I type this, but I’ll be phoning it in from here on. I am definitely ready for the weekend. In my mind’s eye I’m already sipping drinks with tiny umbrellas in ‘em (ever have one of those weeks?) and catching up on my blu-ray movies. I just finished Endymion this afternoon (this series gets better with each novel) and am now reading One Second After. I’m really looking forward to a bit of reading in the backyard under the umbrella, my feet up and with a large glass of Mexican Coca Cola by my side (this stuff is awesome!).

Happy Friday, everyone!

I’m sure you’ve heard by now that the McRib is back at McDonalds. I haven’t set foot inside a McDonalds in quite some time, but tonight I just had to swing by after work to pick up a McRib. And let me tell ya, that BBQ-slathered goodness tasted awesome. There’s something about processed extruded food that’s been pressed into the shape of the Creature From The Black Lagoon’s skeletal webbed hand that tastes just so damned delicious.

I swear, if I had a penny for each McRib that I’ve ever eaten my life, I’d have $1.23.

Short post Friday! …or “I’m too hyper from sneaking the Halloween candy that I can’t sit still long enough to write a decent post”.

Yes, I’m wearing my Star Trek costume to work tomorrow (go redshirts!). Yes, I will have candy on my desk to hand out to the kids as they make their annual rounds of the monkey cubicles. No, you can’t play with my Lost action figures I keep in the office.
