Ever wonder what would happen if a pirate owned a racehorse? Well, wonder no longer:
UPDATE: Ron from Vent has notified me that this video is no longer available. Many thanks, “George”, if that is indeed your real name…
Now, this is the way to promote hiring of the handicapped!
Hope everyone had a nice extended weekend. As for me I picked up my traditional President’s Day stovepipe hat, pince-nez, wooden teeth and Elvis painted on black velvet, grabbed an awesome Jersey Mike’s giant #7 with mayo, played with Tyler (he’s now saying the word “baby”. Not sure where he picked that up from), and even managed to fit in a nice trail run.
All in all it was quite the relaxing weekend, but it’s nice to be back!
It’s amazing to think that Tyler is already one year old. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were driving to the hospital at three in the morning because the baby was coming, when Tyler rolled over for the first time, when he discovered the power of his smile, the joy of listening to his own laughter, rolling over for the first time, needing the comforting embrace of mommy and saying his first word.
All of these fragmented moments are now lost. No matter how hard I try I know that I can never get them back, so I make sure to pay attention and enjoy each special moment as it comes and consciously tell myself to remember them because their here only once and then they’re gone.
Time is moving so fast that I’m sure I’ll be having “the talk” with Tyler before I know it…
Did you know that:
I particularly love the part when “Elmo” refers to himself in third person…
