Terrible Analogies

Coachella has wrapped up for the year, but I’m sure this guy is still working off the hangover:

It looks like my previous theory that a parking lot was under construction at Iron Mountain proved to be true.

Pulling up to IM this past weekend I was greeted with a nice right turn only lane which fed directly into a brand spanking new dirt parking lot complete with bathrooms:

No longer will you have park along side the freeway, hoping that a careless driver doesn’t decide to take you out as you exit your vehicle.

A nice touch to this new lot is the bride that leads you to the trail head.  And…as you exit the parking lot there’s a new stop light that will allow you to safely cross the freeway.  No more jumping into 80MPH traffic!

Kudos to whomever made this possible!

As I write this post it’s 10pm and I just got home from a four hour ordeal at the automotive dealership.  Buying a new car is never an enjoyable task.  I’m simply beat (and feeling a bit sick..uh oh).

Just wanted to throw out a quick “Thank you!” to the bro-in-law for picking me up several bottles of one of my favorite drinks from Mitsuwa:

If you haven’t tried this drink before, I suggest you run down to your local asian store and pick up a case or two.  Don’t let the white color dissuade you.  Calpico tastes surprisingly like Orange Julius, and the colder you get this drink, the better it tastes.

While watching Tron the other night I was surprised to see a familiar shape:

I wonder if Namco is receiving residuals with every copy of this movie sold?  Regardless, this was a nice touch, and is just one of many reasons why Tron is such an amazing flick.
