Ingredients-
- Bell pepper- 2
- Capsicums- 2
- Garlic- 10 cloves
- Onion-2
- Tomato puree
- Dry coriander seeds- 2 tbsp
- Garam masala- 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds- 1/2 tsp
- Red chili- 1tsp
- Cashew nuts-10-15
- Chicken with bones- 500 gm
Method-
- Dry roast fennel seeds, red chili, coriander seeds and make a fine powder in a mixer.
- Also, make a paste of cashew nuts in a mixer with 4-5 tbsp water.
- In steel, Kadai fry cubed onion and capsicums for 2-3 min on high flame. Keep them aside when done.
- Now in the same Kadai, add some more oil and add cumin seeds and red chillies.
- When cumin seeds start crackling and onion becomes golden, add garlic ginger paste and fry them.
- Now add chicken in the Kadai and saute for 3-4 min. Cover the Kadai with a lid or plate and cook for another 4-5 on low flame.
- Add the spices like turmeric, red chilli, and garam masala, mix thoroughly, and saute for 3 more minutes.
- Add the cashew paste and tomato puree as well as salt. Cook uncovered until the smell of tomato puree is gone. Also, the gravy should be thick, so cook for 5 more minutes.
- Cover and cook chicken till it gets soft, and then add onion as well as capsicums.
- Mix them all, add 3 tbsp of cream and mix again. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, and finally sprinkle coriander leaves and Kasuri methi. Two more minutes, and your chicken masala in stainless steel Kadai is ready to serve.
